Hey everyone!

It's Sustainability Awareness Week. I hope everyone is getting involved and enjoying what the campus has to offer. Today I attended the Sustainability fair and WON and super cool reusable glass waterbottle. I just thought I'd share a few photos I took while I was there.

  1. Thanks for the photos, they are great! What did you find to be the most valuable part of Sustainability Week?

  2. No problem! I wish I could have taken more but the week was just so busy with midterms and what not it was hard to make it to more events. There were a few things that stood out to me this week, one was the amount of people that were apart of the sustainability initiative. It is amazing to see so many people care about the environment, society and the economy. My favorite part was the farmers market, I absolutely love buying local food and seeing students supporting the community, but the most valuable part i believe were the talks and info sessions. The biggest part in expanding sustainability on campus is education by far.

  4. Great photos from sustainability awareness week. I definitely took part in some of the activities that week.
It looks like you were really busy with your CSL component of Ales204. Would you do CSL again or recommend it for someone else if they have the opportunity?

  5. I didn't have a chance to say this in the lab, but I think thought the work you and your croup created was very informative and creative. Do you think that you'll volunteer with Sustain SU again next year? I love how you can see a bit of Sustain SU in the colours and style of your blog. So glad we had the chance to meet.

  6. Hey K. McLean and Tania,

I absolutely loved taking part in CSL this semester. I would definitely recommend it to others. It not only looks good on a resume, but you also gain a better appreciation for what you are learning in class. I have met so many new people and done so many fun projects this term. I will definitely continue to volunteer with Sustain SU. K. McLean, if you have the opportunity in another class to take part in CSL, go for it! It is worth it. Tania will you be continuing your volunteering with Writers Guild?
